That was pretty good. Looking at the Wikipedia article about that guy I found an interesting article about English spelling and pronunciation.
http://englishspellingproblems.co.uk/html/history.html I kind of feel sorry for non-native English speakers who have to learn it; even a language like Finnish may be complicated but is much more regular in its rules than English, where probably 30% of the words most frequently used are irregular in some way. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
