I'm mostly reiterating what others have said:
French is applicable for a few countries in North Africa, but no one in the Middle East will speak French as a
native language (with the possible exception of Lebanon, but even Arabic will be the dominant language).
Your focus should be on Arabic—specifically MSA until you've covered its grammar, which in most school settings
takes 4 semesters (i.e. two years), and from there begin learning a dialect while continuing with MSA. You should
focus on mastering MSA first, and learning a dialect when you know which country specifically you'll be working
in. MSA provides a foundation for dialects, but one dialect does not transfer very well to another (with a few
exceptions).
English should be your second focus. More English speakers will be doing business in the Middle East than
Portuguese, you will want the option of working alongside or for American companies.
