I don't know, Spanish sort of grew on me. I used to hate the idea of (being forced in school) to learn foreign languages, now I have a list of like 7 or 8 I want to learn :\

When I was about 5 years old I decided I would learn as many languages as possible :)

When I finally got high speed Internet in 2004, I started watching anime over the Internet, and I couldn't find an English dub, so I watched it in Japanese with English subs, and it all started there. It did take me five years to decide to actually learn the language though.
With Korean, it started in mid 2008 when I learned one of my favorite Jpop artists (BoA) was Korean and had Korean songs (she hasn't released one since 2005, so I'm not entirely to blame,) I started listening to Korean music and started learning the language a little bit afterwards (early 2009.) 1 person has voted this message useful |
