This thread is just for fun of course, and certainly not to make fun of anyone, just have some. Basically if you have ever read a bad bit of literal translation, for instance on a site translated by google translation or such, post the result here and others are supposed to guess the original sentence and if needed the thinking of whoever wrote it. Teachers of course have the great advantage of having an endless population of students ready to invent new ones. You can also invent them of course, the game will be as much fun!
Here goes, translated from French to English (some stem from spelling mistakes): - I follow go has the swimming-pool - Seven hours has little meadows - He's too much cabbage! - His mother was speaker From English to French - Le bateau évia - Mon nom d'encoche est Becky Spanish to English By Jong: Between, between.
