I may be presented with an opportunity to live in Mussoorie (Uttarkhand state, northern India) in the upcoming months, for at least a year - possibly more. I'm looking for any physical resources people might strongly recommend. Immersion being (in my opinion) one of the best forms of language-learning, I'll be surrounded by Hindi and Garhwali all day, but I'm looking for recommended dictionaries, grammars, textbooks et all that I should pick up before I hop overseas.
I've been curious about Hindi for awhile, but needed something to push me in that direction, and a job opportunity is certainly one of them! :) 1 person has voted this message useful |
