I pretty much agree with all of you here. Personally right now I'm studying two languages, but at different levels, like Katie. And yes, my Russian (newest one) slips into my Spanish but it's not too terribly bad and my study techniques are very different, as in, I'm actually learning Russian actively and only watching TV in Spanish and learning vocab lists. But personally the problem with me is, I have too much time. Although some days I only have an hour to study, on some others I have seven or eight, so I don't want to study just on thing in all that time because after a while things just won't stick anymore. But once I have more languages to maintain I might only actually study one at a time.

If it is not your first foreign language, then the only limitation present when learning multiple languages is time.

I get around this by using Google's advanced search. You can search for any word(s)
within a specific domain.
