Shalom, everyone
One of my first posts here in 2009 was on how to learn Hebrew and now that I've got more free time I can return to
it. So I want to start with a basic level and ask: how difficult is it to speak Hebrew? I will focus on script later if
things go well. :D
I have read that it is difficult, but is this unfair? How long did it take you to become somewhat proficient? What is
the grammar like?
All the best and thanks in advance,
Brian :)

Shalom Aleichem
Modern Hebrew can be difficult at times, however it is easy to memorize lots of vocabulary.
I haven't started to go fluent by any means, but I understand Hebrew & Yiddish.
