I'm new here and this is the only way I could think of getting my questions answered.
What is the English pronunciation for "никогда" (never) and "где" (where)?
For example:
"год" "year"
Pronunciation: [goht]

Никогда is pronounced as nee kag da. For где the д is soft because the e makes it soft. To make a soft d
pronounce the d as if you are pronouncing a y sound at the same time. So Gdye. I always thought the soft d
sounded a bit like ds (as in suds) but that's just me.
