Hello!
I am learning French and would be most grateful if you could offer me some advice: Can I skip Assimil New French with Ease altogether after being able to completely comprehend the French in Action videos, and move on straight to Assimil Using French? I would recommend beginning with French With Ease before going on to Using French. Even though your French sounds like it is good, you can always learn from the With Ease and Without Toil programs. They will fill in gaps and give you practice that will help you through the second half. Considering the price is so low from amazon.com, I don't think it will be money wasted. I would say there is a lot in Assimil that is not included in French in Action. Even though my knowledge of French is good, I like to listen to French Without Toil and French With Ease from time to time. I find it entertaining to listen to anyway. When I have to drive long distances I will often put on a language recording to keep me entertained. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||
