I am writing specifically about learnhebrewpod.com, but they also run Spanishpod.com, frenchpod.com and other languages.
The course requires a subscription and I'd like to know if anyone has any feedback on the specific course(s) and/or their methodology. The course appeals to me due to its multi-media approach with sound files, transcripts of dialogues, etc. but especially because I can access it anywhere that I have web access. French pod has a free trial membership that you can sign up for. I would guess that the others offered the same thing. You might want to try that.
I have recently started learning French, and French pod was my first choice, but I quickly switched to pimsleur. The reason was, that French pod didn't appear to be structuralized in a way that takes you step by step from the absolute beginner state to a higher level. The program consists of a number of dialogues sorted in four levels, but every lesson, apparently, is meant to work independently. Aside from that, French pod seemed nice, and think that I will return to using them as soon as I have developed my French a bit. Frenchpod etc. are indeed all individual podcasts. The Pod101 programs typically have linear series though, so that you start at lesson 1 and keep advancing and revising. So try FrenchPod101 - unfortunately this doesn't exist for Hebrew yet.

Yeah there are two big companies and a couple independants.
The one big company evolved from ChinesePod and does FrenchPod, SpanishPod etc. - but not everything ending in -pod because there are also the independants and for them the -pod is the most obvious name. For example, I believe that ArabicPod is not done by them. The other big company evolved from JapanesePod101 and does FrenchPod101, SpanishPod101 etc. plus KoreanClass101 (apparently KoreanPod101 was taken by speculators). 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Well, since I now realize I am not asking about the same company as makes the other language instructional podcasts, I will take this question over the language-specific area of the forum.

For Hebrew podcasts, there are two site: learnHebrewpod.com and Hebrewpodcasts.com. I like both of them, but the second one seems a little more organized and I know they are planning on continuing with advanced material.
