I was kind of wary about using FSI German actually, but after that story I think I will use it. I have German Without Toil (1951) and German Made Simple, German: How to Speak and Write It. I think I will have a very good grounding in the language after completing all of these within the next year. :D

Thank you for the suggestion I will definitely try to finish FSI.
