In the Fourth Unit of Cortina Russian, there is an exercise that deals with a sentence that follows along the lines of:
_ has to talk to _ about something.
In this exercise it deals with pronouns. The first example is У меня к вам дело. That translates as "I have to you
affair." I get the translation to I have to talk to you about something. I understand that меня is a gen/acc pronoun.
I know that вам is a dative pronoun. I get everything. However, there was one sentence that I didn't get. It said: У
ней к вам дело. Ней is the female dative pronoun with the prepositional buffer for "she". Is this a mistake in the
book, or is there something I should know about regarding the У [pronoun] construction?

The right way is:
У меня к вам дело
У него к вам дело
У неё к вам дело
It is accusative in every case.

You can say or write "У ней к вам дело" and you will be understood and may be even unnoticed of using wrong form, but it is just a bad grammar.

So it was a mistake in the book?
WOW I thought that this book was relatively mistake free :(. Although I will give it credit that it did use него and that
it might have just been a little error.

Actually it is the genitive case, the pronouns just happen to be identical in these 2 cases. If you replaced У неё with the noun женщинa it would be y женщины not y женщинy

Haha don't worry I already understand that the accusative and genitive pronouns are the same so it didn't confuse
me :).
