Hi,

This may sound quite weird, but does anyone know any book or on-line article where I can find a logical explanation for the German particles when they modify verbs? I mean, some place that explains the same this site does for English language: http://eolf.univ-fcomte.fr/uploads/ressources/grammar/11_phr asal_verbs/05_inout.htm

For non-English (or related-languages) speakers, it's quite difficult to find a relation between "auf" and "nehmen" in order to get "aufnehmen" = "take a picture". What are the other meanings of "auf"?

Thanks,
Rodrigo.
