Day One: Today, I started my Italian learning. I don't know how I didn't realize before that Italian was so easy to learn, due to its closeness to Spanish. However, I am not able to buy any decent learning material, so I guess I'll have to make it with what I find available in the Internet, and create my own.
I'll try to learn the language in three stages. Stage 1 will consist in exercises involving the receptive skills: listening and reading. Productive skills will not be as important as in the next two stages. The intention of Stage 1 is to get used to the sounds and the ortography of Italian. Grammar will be taught deductively, since it's easier that way for me. Translations and pronunciation exercises will be the main focus in this stage. As soon as I reach Stage 2, I'll post it. :P
Wish me luck fellas.

A concern has come up a couple of hours ago regarding my learning process. Three are the main bases that make possible the acquisition of any language: Input, Output, and Feedback. The first two I think I have them, but the opportunity to receive feedback is something difficult to receive if you learn by yourself. Have you ever thought about this? If so, how did you manage to solve it? Is there any resource out there that I can use for receiving feedback?
Thanks beforehand for your answers.

This might be me being picky but... why did you put same title in the log as me...?
It was already hard enough for me to find a title to stick with to now have to change cause someone copied....

You can find some exercises to test yourself, Teach Yourself books have a few exercises at the end of each unit to see if you remember the content given by the respective unit.
To get more confident you can use the Multi language lounge here in the forum, to communicate with other learners of your target language, don't be afraid of making mistakes at first, it's natural (you don't want to start doing this with absolutely no knowledge of the language though).
Good Luck with your studies!

Wow! I didn't realize you had chosen that title before. Don't change it, I'll change mine if it's possible.
