Has anyone tried the free greek kypros course? I want to pick up greek, and as of right now I am a complete beginner. thankyou

Yeah I did over half the course. It's great, really well-structured and teaches you quite effectively. A friend of mine did the whole course and stopped there, then went to Greece and spoke to some of our Greek friends. They were quite impressed. So I'd definitely recommend it as a starting resource for modern Greek.

Yes, it's great, I used it for a while, too. Because of the nature of audio, it was a bit skimpy on grammar & reading/writing practise, but it was a great way to get started on the Greek language and to make other courses not appear so daunting.
Another awesome resource for learning Greek is Filoglossia, an entire textbook with videos etc. for free online.
