I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but beside working for GermanPod101 and teaching private German classes online, I also created a German course for people to study on their own on the iPhone. It's a brand new concept, involving many tiny German lessons rather than several long ones - just right for the iPhone, as most people carry around their iPhones all day and can just do a quick lesson anywhere they have to wait in line or the like.
Since there are plenty of language geeks in this forum, I'd be interested in hearing what people think of this course, the idea and the implementation. You can get it from the App Store here. If you want to write a review and you're American, I can also send you a promotion code so you get the app for free. (Hate Apple for not making it possible to give promotion codes to people in other countries.)
If you know of other German apps for the iPhone, you can post your impressions here as well. The only other German app I know much about is "German sex", for memorizing the gender of German nouns. A friend made it.

I'm glad that you clarified what it was for, otherwise... :)

Oh, do I need an iphone in order to get German Sex? haha.
Seriously though, does "American" include Canadian somehow? Sometimes we get lumped in. If so, I might be interested in borrowing my sister's iphone for an afternoon and reviewing the app if I can get one of those promotion codes.

Sorry, Apple only allows promotion codes for the US American App Store. I hope they will change it soon, it's sick that Chuck (my boyfriend, an iPhone developer) can give promotion codes to somebody 3000km away but not to his next-door neighbour.

Not bad, but perhaps you should check the answers in the "days of the week" section, it thinks that "Montag" is the correct answer for all the days of the week.
Edit: Also, isn't it "Sontags" for each Saturday? The lesson seems OK, it's just the code in the Exercise that has problems. Device is a 64 gb iPod Touch running 3.1.2 (7D1l) I'll try it also on an unprovisioned device when I have a chance.
Ok, On an unprovisioned 32gb iPhone running 3.1.2 it had the same problem.

Fixed. Well, locally anyway. It will go out with the next update. And yes, "sonntags" is "every Sunday".

Another thing - is the plural of die Flasche die Flaschen? The lesson on "expressing your needs" discusses adding an "n" for pluralizing some nouns, however the program wants "Flasche" for a correct answer.
