Ok here it goes, I found a great resources for finding decent reading material in my target languages, reading material that I ACTUALLY want to read.

There is plenty of Manga Japanese comics on this site (http://mangahelpers.com/downloads/) translated ('scanlated') into many of the 'popular' languages e.g Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, Br.-Portuguese, French, German, Italian, English (for you English learners out there) etc. and for 'less commonly studied' languages such as Albanian, Romanian, Czech, Hungarian etc...

I'm reading Guyver and Naruto, but there's plenty more series from which you can choose with plenty of different languages which they have been translated into.

What you do is look for what comic you want to read and then look for a copy of it in your desired target language, and either download the comic or read it online.

E.g here is Naruto in Arabic, Naruto Br. Portuguese and in Spanish.

Just click on the comic you want and then look on the right hand panel where it allows you to filter the entries of comic issues into your chosen language. And that's it.

The benefit of reading these comics is that it gives you the language used in a conversational context along with pictures (obviously) which helps with comprehension.

Tim Ferris recommends reading Manga comics on his blog for the purpose of language learning and credit goes to him for pushing me to look for the aforementioned Manga site and of thinking to use Manga in the first place as a learning aid.

Regards

I looked for stuff translated into in Slovak, but found nothing. If anyone knows where I could find any manga in Slovak, I'd appreciate it.
