Hi Guys,
I'm looking to sit a profiency test to document my Italian skills but the only test offered in Melbourne, Australia is the Certificazione IT administered by the Italian Institute of Culture for Roma Tre University. It is equivalent to C2 but is it recognised as much as CILS or CELI?
Regards,
Viola

Hi Viola,
From what I understand, the Certificazione IT is recognised along with the CILS and CELI certifications. On top of these 3 certifications, the PLIDA certification is recognised too - by the Italian Ministry of Education.
However, the Italian certifications offered by AIL (Accademia Italiana di Lingua) are not included in the list of Italian language certifications recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, but interestingly, they are recognised by the Swiss authorities for university entrance purposes.
