Hello everyone,
Is anyone here from Portugal (or someone from another country who moved there)? would love to ask a somewhat..embarrassing...question :-). Not sure if I can post it here, so maybe a PM would be better (if you just post here, I can PM you without a problem). I hope this isn't against the forum rules? Well - my question would have to be the following:
I'm 1,91m tall (6'3'') and wondering if I might have difficulty with the women over there (I mean as in finding a girlfriend as I want to move to another, sunnier country). Here in Germany my height is rather an advantage than a disadvantage, but I hear that in Portugal people are a lot shorter than in Germany..so I'm wondering if I might be too tall for the vast majority of girls (if they're all around 1,55m tall as I've been told). I'm portuguese (and I live in Portugal) so I think I might help you... Indeed people are shorter in portugal than in Germany but still... 1,55m is not the rule... the average height for the portugese woman is between 1,67/1,69. That said I don't think your height will be a really big problem... I mean, of course some women prefer shorter man but in general women don't mind dating/being girlfriends of taller man. I have a friend with 1,94m and he has a gorgeous, sweet girlfriend ;) I hope I've helped! If you need anything else just ask ;) 1 person has voted this message useful |
