I think a lot of these "alpine spring waters" come out of a municipal tap somewhere! Actually the city of San Francisco gets its water from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, which is up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Yosemite. So you could say that you can drink alpine spring water just by turning on the tap in SF. I knew there was a reason I've always loved San Francisco.....
