I am sorry for all the confrontations I have had in this forum and I realize now that people won't believe anything I say because of my claim in the past which has changed now, but since you guys do not get that my claim has changed, I am actually honest this time and have done evaluations and have spoken with many natives, I do not care
anymore. Most of you guys, feel free to bash me and say that I am being "stubborn", and that I am "faking", I don't care anymore. Since I can't prove darn right anything to most of you people, then that's fine because I am surely not getting anywhere like this so have fun bashing me and criticizing me in a unreasonable negative way. As for the rest of the people, thanks so much for the nice, polite, and reasonable criticism. I won't post anything on this forum anymore for now.

Please don't leave. I know it's selfish, but I'd like to try to learn from you. You are clearly a gifted language learner.
Maybe we could have some calm discussion here, and request that only those interested in your thoughts post.
What do you say? And incidentally, your written Thai is quite good. I always meant to tell you, but somehow forgot.
Anyway, before I bombard you with questions, I'll wait for your response.

Could we keep the discussions outside of the Multilingual Lounge in English? Many of us don't speak Thai and will not be able to follow this. Thank you.

I just talked to Cesare on skype. His conversation is better than his video, and I was able to understand him. I'm just
amazed at how far he gets with so little study. Cesare, how much time would you say you've spent on Thai?

I've been watching Cesare's YouTube channel evolve for a while now. I'm just wondering if narcissistic personality disorder is a common comorbid condition of high-functioning autism. I don't think he's interested in learning any one language well at all. There don't appear to be the typical motivators that most people have when choosing the languages they study in his case. It seems that what really interests him is having people recognise and affirm his talents (in the form of having studied a ridiculous number of often obscure foreign languages for a North American) with his continual demands for people to post affirmative comments and/or make videos about him and his abilities, as well as his rabid arguing with anyone who questions his "fluency" and incensed reaction when he receives negative comments or scepticism about his claims.

I'm completely serious in suggesting he may need psychological treatment if he's so entirely absorbed both with a single topic of interest and dependent on how he's perceived by other people, because I don't think it's going to get better any time soon. It doesn't strike me as particularly healthy in the slightest.
