Hello, I was doing a study on these words and have came across a problem.A dictionary says they can be both used for the words age and eternal, two almost opposite consepts. How can these be?
John 3:16 Ex: "For that God loves the world, so that He gives His only-begotten Son, that everyone believing in Him should not be perishing, but may be having life 'eonion' or age abiding" Concordant Literal New Testament "for God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
