I was referring of course, to this idea that somehow you can teach an ape or whatever to speak.(or that they'll aquire it in a short period of time.) They think that they can and they keep trying and trying, but it wont happen in our lifetimes.(if ever.) As for the latter, I obviously was talking about non humans...
