I would hate it, and i would not record my baby at all like that and show all the world. (I haven't a baby, but if I will have, she /he will have privacy). I can't believe it that the father do it, only that a company or nasty scientists do the recording.

It's an human right to not have the cameras in your house or that they record you. If they want to record you then they must ask your permission, and you can refuse.A baby can't say therefore it's not just I think, and later the poor baby will discover.

Though I disagree, I understand your point.

But what is the alternative? That we simply give up and accept that we will never understand first language acquisition?
