It doesn't seem to do anything, so I'm not sure why you're posting it, but this works when you need to type IPA: http://westonruter.github.com/ipa-chart/keyboard/

I think this one is more user-friendly. 1) You can type your entire text there, so you do not need to copy and paste and switch to other windows constantly and 2) you do not need to scroll down as much as in the second source. It's quite an easy website to use :).
