When I was studying Spanish, I found El GED en Español to be very helpful. It's meant for native speakers preparing for a General Educational Development test. This is for students who drop out of High School and want to get a diploma that says they are about as educated as someone who didn't drop out.
I'm specifically looking for one in French, but imagine there could be a similar "general study" book for A levels or whatever basic education diploma they have in the target country.

This is a wonderful idea!
I think the DAEU(Diplôme d'accès aux études universitaires) is the exam we want. But we could use books meant for the Bac exam as well.
I could not find a single "general study" book on Amazon.fr but I found several that teach individual subjects: History, Geography, Composition, even one for English. :)
