This came to me via twitter by way of Susanna Zarayasky: The US farm that teaches Yiddish. This is a five minute video about a farm in upstate New York where a Yiddish learner can go to be immersed in and learn Yiddish while volunteering to work on the farm.

The Guardian wrote:
On a farm in upstate New York people from all over the world come to learn Yiddish. Participants learn the historical Jewish language by living and working on the farm, speaking only Yiddish for the duration of their stay. The farm's founders, Yisroel Bass and Naftali Ejdelman, say the immersive course connects the learners to the historical and cultural roots of the language. Their hope is that the vernacular language will be embraced not only by the old or the ultra-orthodox, but among the young and the wider community.
