I've placed a zip file containing all of the Sub-Saharan MP3 files as well as photos of the tapes used to produce the files here:
kanbox.com/f/v70BD (264.4MB, 277278720 bytes) Site is in Chinese; use the 2nd button to download (shows a downward pointing arrow in icon) Audacity was used to digitize.
LAME MP3 Settings:
The MP3 settings of "4" produces a file targeted around 145-185 Kbps which is way over what is needed and produces a large file. But it does mean the file can be considered roughly lossless in case someone want to do some work to improve the sound. Whoever grabs the file should probably recode at a lower bit rate (maybe use "7" setting) to save space.
