That is a seriously awesome find! The copyright page says it's from 1883, but I don't think that is too much of a problem. I wish I had this text when I was a beginner, but I think I'll read it just for the fun of it. For anyone doing the Super Challenge, I counted the words on a couple of pages and there are about 150 words per page, so two pages would count as one page for the challenge.
And here is a working link:

EDIT: I couldn't find his "Second French Book", or his "First German Book". Any idea where these PDFs might exist? |

Woodsei was kind enough to post a bunch of links. I've read a bit of your language log before Jeffers, and I'm sure that the first book would be very easy for you. It may serve as a nice review though. Regardless, all the lessons are completely in French so it can't hurt to give them a read through (it will likely be a quick, but useful/refresher course for you). I haven't looked at the second french book, but that may be more beneficial to you.
I looked at the German books in the course since German is on my to do list but the font in the German book was really off putting for me. I don't know the technical name for the font in the German book, but it definitely didn't make the language any easier.
The first french book is however extremely useful to me. I don't know if I'd suggest it to a complete beginner, but if someone has finished pimsleur and or michel thomas, I think this book would be perfect for them.
Oh and here is a better pdf of the first Spanish book. The one Woodsei posted had a bunch of markings all over it.

I think you're referring to FrakturFraktur--I haven't gotten the hang of it and only proofread in English and Spanish.

When I go to these links, all of them are listed as "no ebook available". How do I get into the book from the google books website?

hmm, maybe they're not available in your country? Which ones do you want? I'll try to get links directly to the pdf's.
I know you wanted the second french one, maybe this link will work.
