Even though I don't speak Serbian fluently, my parents do use a few phrases in Serbian all the time. To the
point where I didn't know the English words for them till I was basically an adult as they don't regularly come
up in conversation. So if my parents ask me if I want something to eat, where I was or what I'm doing I will not
usually be able to remember what language they asked in as I don't "hear" the language in that case.

Last week went out to a restaurant with somebody. The next table was talking mostly in a strange language so
loud we could hear them almost yelling to each other. We later found out from them they were speaking
Portuguese. It is a Romance language supposedly similar to Spanish & Italian but somehow the sounds of the
language seemed to suggest they were talking in an Eastern European language.
