I haven't heard from atamagaii yet; I'll email him/her.
I wrote about it. I ended up only doing about 45 hours, or between half and a third of what I'd originally wanted to do, so I didn't hit natural listening. I decided to briefly ignore the provision against reading without audio before reaching natural listening yesterday; I found that I can easily tell what google news articles in Russian are about, and understand a fair amount, but not get the gist of 100% of them yet. It's not. Atamagaii expressed that s/he thinks it's pointless to only translate the 'index' page, and that as a whole, it's relatively untranslatable. I tend to agree. I'm thinking of taking a stab at translating the whole thing, but that's a much bigger and more difficult project, and I have not yet started. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||
