Well, I've always gotten sidetracked in my Spanish efforts by deciding to focus more on French, but I definitely need to learn Spanish so that I'm not forced to waste my time in basic Spanish classes when I go off to college.
My method:
Michel Thomas-Go through all courses, except probably the Language Builder
10,000 sentences-Digging these straight from Platiquemos dialogues.
L-R: When I have long periods of time (on weekends) and am done with Michel Thomas, I am going to try this, but I don't have too high of expectations. If the results are good, I'll continue with it.
Immersion: I'll be listening to lots of radio in the background and watching the dubbings of some of my favorite shows in Spanish.
Current progress:
1 CD of Michel Spanish
75 sentences
AKA...barely anything.
