Hi All,
I've noticed that on mininova people have been seeding the audio to several retired DLI courses as torrents. (Mandarin, Arabic, Cantonese, French, Albanian etc.) This is great! The pdfs are all available for free on ERIC but are pretty useless without the audio.
Thanks to everyone who has been putting these up! I will try to add some soon and would encourage anyone who has additional audio files to share theirs. (pleeeeease :-) ) Eventually there will be a DLI site similar to the FSI.org site but I'm not sure how soon it will be up.
Thanks!!

I've already put Cantonese, Mandarin, Albanian, Tausug, Tagalog, Belarussian and
Vietnamese on Mininova. Unfortunately my upload speed is rubbish.
I've downloaded Egyptian Arabic and Czech but I'm waiting for the others to get more
seeds before adding more torrents (and I've misplaced the CDs!).
Is there a way to "co-seed" torrents if I share them via rapidshare first?
I've access to the full courses for: Dutch, French, Greek, Haitian Creole, Polish
(+extras), Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Syrian Arabic.
Are the pdfs available for Hungarian, Korean and Farsi? I only have access to the mp3s
for these.
I've been concentrating on getting other courses ready, I should have a combined
USSOCOM course torrent up tomorrow with, among others, Javanese, Ilokano, Punjabi,
Amharic, Georgian, Kazakh and Kurmanji.
EDITED TO ADD: Czech up at mininova as "DLI Czech Basic and Improve"

Ah-ha! I had a feeling you might have been involved with them :-)
I do think co-seeding does speed up the process a bit, but I don't know a great deal about the torrent process. Anyone else out there know how to speed it up??
I also think that all of the DLI pdf's are available on the ERIC website (although the quality is variable....) I know for sure that Farsi and Korean are available & I'm pretty sure Hungarian is as well.
Tony, let me know if there is any way I can help!

Fat-Tony, could you make the names of the torrents a bit more distinctive? I can't find the Czech file, and the Vietnamese was just titled "Vietnamese," which makes it hard to find when you're looking for DLI Vietnamese.

Tagalog - http://www.mininova.org/tor/2835383 ; http://www.mininova.org/tor/2835371

someone wants it.

Where is the Egyptian Arabic file? That would be an amazing thing to have. Thank you for doing this!

Could you post the Korean audio when you have some time?
Thanks
