I gave up on Pimsleur Korean shortly after starting it because I couldn't make out if they were saying 종마 or 종말, not to mention similar sounding vowels and consonants. I'd definitely like a transcript(though I can't contribute). |

Me too.
I remember not understanding the numbers when they taught them, either. Sometimes they said the final consonant, sometimes they didn't (or at least my ears didn't hear it).
I have a theory that it doesn't matter. Maybe the big secret in Korean is that it really doesn't matter. Maybe you can say "jong ma" or "jong mal" and as long as you say it fast enough, it doesn't matter :P

I had the same problem with 정말 last year, but I thought they were always saying 전말 in dramas and such. The trick with Korean is simply to let time itself take care of listening problems. Once you get over 1,000 hours or so of listening in (passive, active, TV shows, music, podcasts, whatever,) listening will get much easier (except for the fact you won't understand most of it.)

SRS is spaced repitition system. It's use was made popular by Antimoon and AJATT methods.

Spaced-Repition System. It's like flash cards, but in a computer program.

So, is anyone going to make a transcript? I'm using the program now and I would love ot have something to look at if at all possible. With my work schedule as of now I bareley have time to do the lesson, let alone transcribe it. If you guys do this that would be great.
