Day 44 - June 14
Today I relaxed by watching tv and listening to music. I also reviewed my flashcards. I found out how to sync my flashcards with anki online. Day 45 - June 15 Today I read different things in all of my target languages and reviewed flashcards. Reading was really fun and relaxing! Plus I picked up a lot of new vocab words. I was using lingq to read stories in Spanish, German, and Japanese because it has a built in dictionary and audio for them. If you think I'm going to try and remember what I did between June 15 and today you are nuts. Let's just say that I studied and slacked off. And I decided that adding Japanese was too much so it's gone now. Sayonara~
Flashcards are reviewed everyday. That's a given now. Day 64 - July 4 Spanish -Read a little bit from "The Linguist. Una Guía Personal para el Aprendizaje de Idiomas" by Steve Kaufmann and "Colmillo Blanco" by Jack London. Time spent: ~2 hours Flashcards added: 17 Total flashcards: 204 (the program makes two cards for English >> Other Language and Other Language >> English) Malay -Went through lesson 23 on this site. I'm "re-learning" Malay by going back through these lessons. Time spent: ~15 minutes Flashcards added: 20 Total flashcards: 624 German -Translated part of a German song to English and added the new words to Anki. -Completed lesson 2 of Deutsch Interaktiv and added the new words to Anki. -Learned das Alphabet and downloaded a das Alphabet song. Spanish -Played pokemon leaf green in Spanish. -Read for a few minutes but couldn't really concentrate. Time spent: ~35min Flashcards added: 9 Total flashcards: 220 Malay -Created a new Malay/Indonesian Thread. -Read bits of 3 articles online and added new words to Anki. Day 69 - July 9
Spanish, Malay and German I reviewed flashcards throughtout the day and nothing else. ----- I'm no longer going to be updating this journal because I've decided that I would rather have seperate journals for each language.
