Day 49 (01/07/2008)
German: Lesson 63 (review) in Assimil. I also went through the final tape of FSI Unit 3 which is mostly a substitution drill. I am not as instant with my responses as the course says I should be before moving on so I will be doing this drill again (Time spent: 1hr, Total time: 37hr 32mins) Russian: Second half of Michel Thomas Method Foundation Disc 2. Did not do anything yesterday.
Day 52 (04/07/2008) German: Lesson 65 and 16 of Assimil. (Time spent: 35mins, Total time: 39hr, 7mins) Russian: The rest of the 3rd CD of Michel Thomas and the 4th CD. Day 53 (05/07/2008)
German: Nothing :( Russian: CD 5 of Michel Thomas Foundation. (Time spent: 1hr 30 mins, Total time: 20hr 27mins) Day 54 (06/07/2008) German: Assimil lesson 66 in the passive wave and 17 in the active wave. The active wave is really beginning to get quite difficult now. I am needing to take repeated listenings before I can translate the entire dialogue to German. (Time spent: 40 mins, Total time: 39hr 47 mins) Russian: Michel Thomas Foundation disks 6 and 7. I have gotten to the point where I am virtually screaming at the students on the tape for failing to pronounce "здесь" properly again. No updates for the last week but one of my languages is still going strong. I have almost finished MT Russian after finishing the foundation course and the first 3 CDs of the advanced course. German on the other hand, I have had no motivation to study for whatever reason and have done nothing since the last update. I am getting back on track now and did Assimil lessons 67/18 today.
