My girlfriend has to take two semesters' worth of a foreign language next year, and was asking me if I knew of any good resources for French. I eventually came across a link to French in Action somewhere on this forum, which looks excellent.
Of course, I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a stab at another language, so now I'm learning Farsi and French simultaneously, at a pace of about an hour a day for French, and anywhere between 30 minutes and 5 hours for Farsi. Ah, but that's not all.
Today, I got the urge to re-read Jaroslav HaĊĦek's The Good Soldier Schweik, and thought to myself, hey, I could mostly understand Slovak when I was in Bratislava, why don't I try reading it in the original Czech. So, technically, I'm now learning Persian, French and Czech simultaneously, with Latin on hold. Jack of all trades, master of none, you say? Pfft. We'll see who laughs last when I speak fluent Czersian, Pernch and Frzech.
