I am a scout in the US Army and will be deploying to Iraq next year. My unit sent me to a 5 week crash-course in Arabic and I have jumped in with both feet. The military provides Rosetta Stone for free so I am making use of that. I am working on getting the DLI courseware, if anyone has it, it would save me some phone calls. I want to be able to communicate with the Iraqi people. I want more than the casic commands that the basic army course teaches.
