I've finally decided to start a journal to document all my french studies.
Today I listened to Lesson 34 of French in Action.
Within a week, I will have the textbook, workbook, study guide, and audio for part 1 of FIA. Then I will continue to listen onwards, whilst going back to Lesson 1 and doing the stuff with the workbook, textbook, study guide, etc.
I wanted to pursue the listen and not speak method, but unfortunately, I will begin high school french class shortly, and it is imperative that I begin speaking and getting near perfect prounounciation ASAP. I tried speaking yesterday, and it was a diaster. Darn that french R!
So here is my to-do list:
-Finish watching all the videos
-Use the full FIA program
-Find a wonderful French pronounciation program that teaches those tricky sounds

To help your accent you should try listening to French radio or news.

Wactched French in Action episode 35. I suprised myself: my listening comprehension was very good! Close to 95%, or maybe even more! Only a few moments when I didn't quite grasp the concept.
If only all episodes were like today!

Watched French in Action lesson 36 yesterday. I'll need to rewatch this one. I wasn't really paying attention. As well as lessons 31-34 or whichever ones about the car.

Watching Lesson 40. (Was a pretty good lesson! I'm estimating a total comprehension of about 80-90%! Whoo!)
Starting tomorrow, I will use the Study Guide, Textbook, and Audio and start with Lesson 2 and do all the exercises.

Watched Lesson 42 (July 29)
Watched Lesson 43 (July 30)
Went through audio for lesson 2 without the workbook (not here yet!) and now I am confused about nous allons and vous allez.
