Brilliant band. Have you heard the song "A"? With the singer, Stumpen, doing 20 second long solo screams that sound like he's being castrated or something. I drive around town with mates on Friday nights, finding quiet alleyways. Then we park, turn down the window and play the screams on full volume.
Anyway, good luck!

AAAAAAAA!
Tanks for chiming in :) Knorkator does indeed kick ass.
As for today, I did a bit of Assimil: Lesson 21 and some review.
I also bought a French-German dictionary and a parallel version of Die Verwandlung(The Metamorphosis) by Franz Kafka. Haven't started reading it yet though.
I can now sometimes find myself unconsciously interpreting the meaning of some songs.

May 11: Read Die Verwandlung for about one hour.
May 12: Not much, as I have an essay to write for tomorrow.
I need to make German a part of my daily routine. I feel kind of lost at the moment, thinking something along the lines of "why are you doing all this?". Motivation is def. a bit lower now and I'm thinking of reducing the frequency of my writing in this log so that I can spend more time doing was is to be done.
I want to learn German, yet I'm writing every day here in English.. in what way is this good?

Mqy 17: Nothing. Worked for 11.5 hours (not related to linguistics or language-learning).
May 18: Assimil 28 and 29;
May 19: Assimil 30; Read Die Verwandlung by Kafka for about 2 hours (along with a LOT of dictionary-reading).
I can now understand basic sentences and get the gist of more complex ones. I tried some German on MSN. Apparently I could be understood.
