Greetings.
I'm still making progress on RTK. I hit Kanji 500 a week ago, but am beginning to see which kanji had weaker stories than others. Those kanji are ending up in the failed pile.
Where I don't like the story or when I find it unconvincing - they end up failing and I have to go back and make up my own story.
On the up side, some of the failed kanji are missing drops, or the right kanji in the wrong place. That's encouraging.
I've started to listen to The Petite Prince in Japanese and will start taking sentences from there. I've been watching Japanese drama without subtitles and some with. What's probably not surprising is that soap operas are addicting and reasonably easy to follow even if you don't know what they're saying word for word. I think I'm a believer in the immersion (Japanese all the time) approach.
Tryllid.
