I'm not aware of a book like this. I wonder if I could get an advance to write one!
I can offer some self-help tips, however. 1) Motivation and Visualization: Picture yourself speaking French. Imagine French people responding to you, delighted that you've taken the effort to learn their language. (Outside of Paris, you actually do meet people like this.) Imagine having great food because you knew how to order, etc. 2) Challenges: hypnosisdownloads.com offers a nice autohypnosis to convince yourself you can learn a language and that you don't need to worry about not understanding everything, etc. You can also look at things like Blair's Self-Hypnosis through Writing or texts like The Power of Your Subconscious Mind to work up the conviction that this is doable and you're going to do it. 3) Act as if: Self-talk is a really useful tool not just for practicing forms but also for convincing your brain that hey, you really do know French, you use it all the time. 4) Reinforcement: If you make your own flash cards, put "I speak French - Je parle français" across the top of them, or as the note on selected cards on your Anki deck. 5) Put value on what really matters: Keep track of how much you study, say in hours, rather than whether you study every day. That way you'll stay focused on building on your learning, not where you've "come up short". If you didn't get a chance to study, but you did listen to French music, give yourself some credit for that at least. Just a few ideas.
