I was wondering about something as I was writing my paper on Arabic just now. When an
Arab reads something aloud, do they pronounce the MSA as it is supposed to, or do they
automatically translate into their dialect?

In MSA ofcourse.
One thing that makes MSA very important is that all literature and news and stuff are in MSA, and actually we find MSA very attractive so why we would change what we are reading to a dialect.

Kinan, as a native speaker, when you read Arabic books, do you pronounce all the case
endings (e.g. fi al-zhamiaTI al-muasiraTI maktabaTUN kabiraTUN)?
