Well, just beginning as my first foreign language, I guess a little background might help.I'm 18 and live in the midwest. I'm an avid music player and have always wanted to learn a language, and just a few weeks ago decided I would finally go through with learning Japanese. I have the pimsleur comprehensive series, as well as Heisig's Remember the Kanji, and Remembering the Kana. I've been averaging 2-3 lessons a day in the pimsleur, and seem to be understanding it pretty well. I haven't started on Heisig's books either. Well I guess thats it. Any critique/input would be great. Thanks!

Good luck!
Japanese isn't the easiest language in the world but what language is easy. If you put your mind on it you'll learn sooner or later.

Well, today I got 15 kanji done and a lesson in the pimsleur 1 series. Doesn't seem like alot but seems to be manageable. Seem to be having trouble remembering the writing order for kanji, but thats probably something thats able to be gotten around.
