Thank you!
I've returned, and am now planning to start with my French studies, beginning tomorrow. At least 3-4 hours a day. (The rest of the remaining 6-10 hours will be pumped into Japanese.)

I've been revising very lightly, my French (Linguaphone) Handbook. As per personal review, with concentration, I'm already up to Chapter 5, but I've copied/typed up to Chapter 18, going at a rate at about 2 lessons per day. I'll probably begin proper studies once I complete copying the whole book (thence, in about a week's time or so). The reason being that currently I'm having much fun with Japanese, and I intend to complete one particular Sherlock Holmes story first. (And with that, a vocabulary of about 2000+ new words and some hundreds of new kanji.)
I am also at the same time preparing a parallel text of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues, for which I will attempt a go using Heinrich Schliemann's method, dedicating at least 2 hours of study per day for. (Grammar issues will be supplemented and tackled with the assistance of Schaum's reference, and Roger Hawkin's too, although I'm hoping I wouldn't have to refer much to either of those if I've completed and internalized the contents of the French Handbook. Sadly, I do realize that even though I master a few thousand words through this method I would still have absolutely no idea as to the correct pronunciation, but that I hope will be remedied by the FSI French course I've downloaded.)
And lastly, Le Petit Prince! Yes, that too I shall begin soon! :)
