LSLC is excellent to do before FSI. I'm using LSLC 1 now.
You might be a bit advanced for it, but I still think it would be an excellent review for you to cement things in . . .
especially if you need a change of pace. I would also recommend Rocket Spanish 1 and 2, which you might find to
be more fun.
I think you would get something out of both courses.

I just finished Unit 30, which was mostly a review unit. I'm working hard to get through the course, as I change jobs in about 10 weeks and won't have as much time to spend on Platiquemos as I have now. I finished Unit 30 in 2 days, and it took me roughly 6 hours. If I can keep up this pace, I should be close to finishing in 10 weeks.
I'm finally starting to feel that the Spanish I've learned so far is embedded somewhere deep in my brain. When I read Spanish, I can now understand so much more, even if I don't understand every word. Learning the structure of the language seems to have helped here. When I'm finished with the course, I think I'm going to a Spanish speaking place for a long weekend to test my skills.
Hasta luego y buena suerte

SunnyDD, its very encouraging to hear your progress with Platiquemos. I've recently started a new job and have slacked but I'm determined to achieve fluency.

In keeping up with my new pace, I finished lessons 31 and 32 this week. Lesson 31 I found came to me pretty easy. I wish they had drills with the phrase:
"No le hagas caso" as it seems a pretty strange way for an English speaking person to say "Don't pay any attention to him". I spent about 6 hours and had mastered the material pretty well in 2 days. I was was so proud of myself because I had never put some much effort in so little time. I was exhausted when I was finished, and I had Spanish phrases entering my dreams that night.
I was quickly brought back to reality when I started lesson 32 the next morning. The lesson itself is not that difficult, but the dates had me thrown. There is a drill in this unit where you are supposed to substitute the year in each sentence. The drills are given in Spanish and are spoken very quickly. Other than that, there were a couple of phrases that gave me a little trouble, but nothing like mil novecientos. The math drills were covered a little in Pimsleur, so I picked them up pretty quickly.
And now, on to lesson 33!
Hasta luego y buena suerta a todos

Still trying to keep on pace, I finished Unit 33 in 2 days. I spent approximately 7 hours on this unit and tested myself at 95%. The unit is rather short except for the conversation stimulus, which was a nice change. It was about a couple having an argument about his driving. I find that frequently in languange learning there is a tendancy to only emphasize positive conversation. That's nice, but not very realistic. Actually, I find that the conversations stimuli provide very good material. They deal in all tenses learned so far, and the conversations are realistic. They also bring up items learned in previous lessons that the drills don't cover.
Usually I read through the grammar explanations, and I'm lucky if I understand it. I usually just try to identify the patterns in the examples given and form the rules in my head that way. Nominalization was covered in previous units, and the concept wasn't too difficult.
For me, it's been more beneficial to spend more time each day on a unit than just a little time. I used to spend 2 hours a day, and I have since doubled that time. I think the reason may be that by spending more time each day practicing, thinking, and speaking the target language you are in a sense flooding your brain with the language, the closest thing to immersion that is possible without actually leaving your environment.
On to Unit 34! La próxima vez, voy a escribir de la unidad en español.
Hasta luego, y buena suerte a todos.
