Hey,buddies.I used to work in market.And there are lots of customers from Middle East.
And they speak Arabic.So I had asked them to teach me how to say numbers in Arabic. I don't know whether I got the correct pronunciation.But it seems that they can understand me. 1=wahad 2=isan 3=delade 4=alaba 5=mamsa 6=side 7=sebra 8=symmania 9=tisa 10=ashel Correct me if there is any mistake.And I'am very interested in how they are their written forms in Arabic.Show me if possible.:) And other questions: Thanks= shukran? Here is the MSA pronounciation, and the pronounciation of my dialect between the brackets.
1 واحد wa.hid (wa.hed)e in hed is like the Pinyin e 2 إثنان ith.nan (ثنين thneen) th sounds like the "th" in the English word "thing" 3 ثلاثة tha.laa.thah 4 أربعة Ar.ba.'aah 5 خمسة kham.sah 5 ستة sit.tah 7 سبعة sab.'aah 8 ثمانية tha.maa.ni.yah (thma.nyeh) 9 تسعة tis.'aah 10 عشرة 'aash.rah Thanks = شكراً Shuk.ran Bye = مع السلامة ma.'aas.sa.laa.mah Edited by Mosin on 31 December 2009 at 2:29am 1 person has voted this message useful |
