Are there any websites around which could be used to learn Basque by a potential learner, that you know of?

I made a simple Google search, and it seems that there are several courses and sites about the language.
Herman's is fairly grammar heavy (which isn't a bad thing)
This on-line course is free, but I find the initial song irritating so I haven't checked the details
This is one of a number of Basque courses in French
Apart from this there are some paid courses, including those of 'Center for Basque studies'. But in your place I would personally want to check the free sources first to see whether my interest in learning such an arcane language was permanent or just a flimsy thought
And while we are at it: this has links to free courses for a lot of strange languages. I haven't tried them, so I can't garantee anything

I did attempt a similar search, yet it's clear that it was a poor one!
Thanks

This is a very good one in Spanish. I have difficulty downloading the audio, but maybe your computer skills are better. It is less grammar focussed than the others but teaches much more useful vocabulary. http://servicios.elcorreodigital.com/euskera/egunon/. There is also an intermediate course accessible by substituting /arratsaldeon/ for /egunon/.

Iversen, the link to the page of "strange" languages doesn't seem to be working.

I have just tried the link, and for me it works, and there are sources for all sort of 'small' languages (and some not quite so small ones, like Chinese). But unfortunately there are only three links specifically to Basque sources: one to the homepage of the 'Center for Basque studies' and one to the asignoret.free.fr, both of which I already have mentioned above. But also a link to Buber's page, which looks promising, though mostly in English. Plus of course the Basque Wikipedia.
