Hi,
I look in from time to time but haven't got time to devote to Spanish and ancient Greek right now.
As I said in my log, I moved to Germany and am busy improving my German, reading books mainly. My German is much improved already, but I won't keep a log, too time-consuming.
When in a relatively new relationship time's better spent elsewhere, Spanish (basic fluency) and ancient Greek (advanced beginner to intermediate) have to take a back seat for now.
Wish you all a lot of success with your various endeavours. Might meet up again sometime in the future, who knows?

Yes, it's true.

I'm studying, but not nearly as much as I wanted to. Main reason is that I realized I can't put off finishing my essays and graduating forever; my university department is about to be shut down.

Other than that, well, I haven't been visiting the forum as often and I'm debating moving the entire thing to a personal blog.

Spanky, you don't bend TAC, TAC bends you.

Yep, that sounds about right.

I am still clunking along – a tad slowly perhaps but in reality I am just pacing myself somewhat for the longer haul.   I have already achieved the extraordinarily high level of fluency I set for myself for the first of my scheduled languages, so I am pretty much a language god.

Hahahaha... I think you know that I have a different log now. It's a lot better than having the pressure of "OMG I have to do this TAC". Plus, last few months have been a rollercoaster ride for me psychologically.. That's one thing I want to do when I go to Korea in July.. psychiatric check-up. XD

I haven't given up either, just given up coming here so often. And as I haven't had anything very special to report, I refrained from wasting time writing about it.
I am still doing at least half an hour each of Italian, Russian, Chinese and Heisig's kanji. But the level I'm at in all 3 languages makes visible, measurable progress very difficult to judge. I'll update properly some other time, spent enough time on reading a Russian short story today, and writing about it in the book club (Russian) thread. So, yes, I'm still participating, albeit discreetly.
