I was very excited to receive Assimil "French With Ease" in the mail yesterday, and I did the first 4 lessons quite quickly. However, I then decided to pace myself a bit and make sure I did everything thoroughly and correctly, so I started again on the first lesson today. I also realized that I had missed several exercises yesterday. ;-) I'm planning to do one lesson a day, and take each lesson 2 or more times (in the same day). So far the course looks great and I'm enjoying it very much, although I do wish it was a bit more detailed in its explanation of the way you should go through it.

Apparently its a problem throughout the whole of the assimil series! Theres lots of confusion as to the actual method. I started a thread on it ages ago when I first got my "French with ease" and it should give you some guidance if you need it.
